Weddings & Vow Renewals
Your story. Your people.
Your moment.
Your wedding ceremony should feel like you — personal, meaningful and completely your own.
The ceremony is more than the words that are spoken. It’s the stories, people, personalities and moments that make the day yours.
The ceremony you actually want
A wedding ceremony that feels like you.
Your ceremony doesn’t have to follow someone else’s idea of what a wedding ceremony should be.
It can be intimate or full of energy. Funny, emotional, relaxed, traditional or completely unconventional.
The important thing is that it feels right for you.

What can we include?
What belongs in your ceremony?
There are no set rules about what your ceremony has to include. Together, we can decide what feels meaningful to you and the people you want around you.
- Your story
- Personal vows
- Readings
- Music
- Family and friends
- Cultural traditions
- Personal rituals
- Symbolic moments
- Surprises
- Anything else that matters to you
Possibilities rather than a list to work through. We’ll only keep what genuinely means something to you.
Getting to know you
It starts with getting to know you.
Before I can write your ceremony, I need to understand the people it is about.
We’ll talk about your relationship, the people who matter to you, the moments you’ve shared, the things that make you laugh and the details that make your story yours.
Some things will make their way into the ceremony. Some things might simply help me understand you better.
That’s all part of creating something that feels natural, personal and genuinely yours.
How we’ll work together
The Moment Method™
01
Listen
We start with a conversation. I want to hear about you, your relationship and what matters most.
02
Understand
We explore the details, people, memories and personalities that will help shape your ceremony.
03
Create
I turn everything we've discovered into a ceremony that feels personal, meaningful and unmistakably yours.
04
Deliver
On the day, I'll guide the ceremony, hold the room and give you the space to be fully present in the moment.
The people around you
The people who make your day yours.
The people in the room are part of what makes a ceremony feel like yours. If you’d like them to play a part, there are plenty of ways to do it.
A reading. A memory shared out loud. Something played or sung. Someone welcoming guests, holding a symbolic moment, or quietly adding something you didn’t see coming.
None of it is expected. We’ll only include what feels natural for you and for them.

Vows
Words worth making your own.
Some couples want to write their own vows. Others would rather not stand up and read something they wrote at midnight the week before. Both are entirely fine.
If you do want to write them, I’ll help you get there — prompts to think about, a second opinion, a bit of shaping so the words sound like you rather than like a speech.
Some moments deserve words. These are those words.

Good to know
A quick note about the legal ceremony.
In England and Wales, a celebrant-led wedding ceremony is not currently the legal marriage ceremony itself. Couples complete the legal formalities separately — usually a short, straightforward appointment at a register office, before or after the ceremony we create together.
It’s a small piece of paperwork rather than the part of the day you’ll remember, and it leaves your ceremony free to be entirely your own. This is general information rather than legal advice, and your register office can confirm the details for your circumstances.

A broad shape rather than a schedule. How much time we spend at each stage depends entirely on you and on what you’re planning.
Vow Renewals
Still choosing each other.
A vow renewal can be a chance to mark everything you’ve been through together, celebrate where you are now, or simply say the things that still matter.
It doesn’t need to recreate your original wedding. It can be something entirely your own.
Wedding questions
You might be wondering...
Yes — and if you'd like to, I'll help you find the words. Some couples write everything themselves, others want a starting point or a gentle edit. Either way, the vows stay yours.
As much or as little as you'd like. Readings, music, welcoming guests, a shared moment or something entirely your own — we'll shape it together around the people who matter to you.
A celebrant-led ceremony isn't tied to a licensed venue, so it can happen somewhere that means something to you — indoors or outdoors, formal or completely relaxed.
It depends entirely on what you include. Some are short and intimate, others make more of a moment of it. We'll shape the length around what feels right rather than a fixed slot.
In England and Wales, a celebrant-led ceremony isn't currently the legal marriage itself, so couples complete the legal formalities separately — usually a short, simple appointment at a register office.
That's usually where we begin. You don't need a plan, a theme or a running order. A conversation is enough to start with.
Let’s Talk
Let’s talk about your wedding.
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
Tell me a little about what you’re planning, and we’ll take it from there.
